Social Media Specialist (m/f), Waitakere in Waitakere, Auckland

Your tasks:
- Coordinate and implement social media campaigns that align with global marketing initiatives, brand awareness initiatives and encourage dialogue among & with social media users
- Manage the brand voice & presence on branded profiles/platforms
- Distribute pertinent informationto appropriate parties
- Encourages the creation of user created content via active community participation and conversation
- Identify emerging social media platforms & trends to determine the evolution in the socialsphere
- Coordinate campaign/initiative based contests through 3rdparty platforms
- Utilize 3rdparty services to monitor online chatter & sentiment in relation to the brand, products, customer service and competitive information
Your skills:
- Demonstrates a high degree of creativity
- Demonstrates sense of urgency to act, respond in a thoughtful, clear manner
- Degree in Marketing or related field required
- Strong knowledge of standard marketing concepts, practices, and procedures
- Keeps abreast of changing social networking trends
- 2+ years of PR/Marketing/eCommerce/Social Media experience preferred
- Well versed in all aspects of social networking and socialmedia marketing
